Affordable Beauty Advent Calendars 2017

W O W – so last year I did post my top picks of the most affordable beauty advent calendars in November, but even then not all advent calendars had been announced. This year however, it seems some have already gone viral! We’re talking that controversial price tag of the Zoella Advent Calendar (do you really think it’s worth £50? Let me know in the comments below) and a personal favourite – The £50 Wine Advent Calendar by Aldi. Oh yeah! But, in this post I’m going to share my selection of affordable beauty advent calendars 2017! If I’ve missed anything you think should be on this list too, please send links in the comments, and I’ll add with a little thank you credit too!

Ps. I’ve also done two other posts which share all the luxury advent calendars for 2017, AND all kinds of other advent calendars suitable for those who aren’t, well, interested in the makeup and skincare side of Christmas…

24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar by The Body Shop, £45

The Body Shop Advent Calendar 2017

I can honestly say that The Body Shop’s beauty advent calendars are awesome. I bought the more deer one two years ago for my Mum, and was so impressed when she showed me all the goodies she got inside come Christmas Day. You’ve got everything we know and love from The Body Shop, as well as one or two of their newest releases too: lip butters, shower gels, hand creams, body lotions and now even some makeup and beauty accessories like a brow brush!
Available now for £45.

The Advent Calendar by ASOS, £55

ASOS Advent Calendar 2017

The moment I heard about Zoella’s advent calendar, a friend showed me this one by ASOS and it’s crazy to think that for £5 more, you can get an extra 12 days worth of stuff, which are actually useful and of good quality. That clearly shows what I think of this year’s Zoella collection! Anyway, this is ASOS’ dab at a beauty advent calendar, and so far, I’m impressed – you get a whole 25 days worth of goods, including bodycare, skincare and makeup, all by great brands. They also have a male equivalent – The Grooming Advent Calendar for the same price.
Available now for £55.

M&S Beauty Advent Calendar, £35 (when you spend £35 on clothing & home)

M&S Advent Calendar 2017

Okay, so this may be the one beauty advent calendar with a catch (you’re required to spend £35 on clothing and home at Marks & Spencer, in order to bag this beauty for £35 on top). Therefore, you’re looking at spending a minimum of £70 in total to get your hands on this. However, lets face the facts – you’re likely to spend around £35 on a couple clothing and homeware pieces in the build up to Christmas; gloves, scarf, perhaps a new coat, and even a throw, new bedding set, or even some new Christmas decorations. If so, opt to shop for these at M&S and then you’re able to get your hands on an affordable beauty advent calendar at the same time!
Available for £35, from 9th November 2017.

  • Ahhh these all look so lovely and I love how affordable they all are, I always imagined beauty advent calendars were super expensive! Would love to try the Tanya Burr and House of Fraser ones, they are so pretty 😀 xx

    • Exactly! They are a great gift and even a nice treat for yourself to last you the month, but it’s always the high-end ones that are raved about the most! The Tanya Burr one is also on my list!

  • these are really nice to gift. I have been trying to get my hands on the Soap and Glory one for a while, but no success and for some strange reason they refuse to deliver it to me in central London…*rolling eyes* The ASOS one I can vouch for. It is really great. In photos I was not that hyped, but once I received it almost a month ago, I have been in love with the products. Truly great quality, especially considering the price.

  • The body shop advent calendars are so beautiful – I think they would be a real treat for december <3
