Bolle & Raven AirMod Wireless Bluetooth Adapter : Great item, thank you

Easy way to update headphones.

Absolutely love this, it’s given my trusty qc15’s a new life. Brilliantly designed, sits discreetly on headset.

Well done bose for future proofing your amazing products. Incredibly quick service and great comma too . Thanks πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ».

Would recommend this upgrade for anyone that wants to listen to music wirelessly. Have been told when speaking to a caller it picks up a lot of background noise, however i got the airmod to listen to music so i’m exceptional pleased.

Given a new lease of live to my bose 15 headphones. Easy to fit and does the job.

I was thinking it was time to upgrade my bose qc15 to the latest wireless model. So whilst passing through the airport i thought now’s the time to do it but then dixons wanted Β£299 for the qc35 wow. There must be another way the qc15 work and sound great surely i don’t have to pay nearly Β£300 just to get rid of the wires. A quick search of amazon and i found these. Click and the next day they arrived. They fit perfectly, using the ‘jack in’ plug and mold to the lines of the phones. If you weren’t looking for it you really wouldn’t notice it was not part of the design. Sound is as good as the wires so far, although like all bluetooth it could be affected by interference. As other reviews have stated the volume actually goes up louder than without them. Noise cancelling is not affected by them you just have to ensure its switched on (on the headphone) for you to hear anything.

I lost the one i previously had. So buying second time round was easy choice to make.

  • Looks and works like a factory fit item.
  • Save Β£300 and buy these
  • Solves a problem. Fit into the headphones could be smoother.

This is a really excellent product – from the design concept through to the musical delivery.

Sound quality slightly disappointing, but then stopped working altogether.

Used for first time yesterday whilst travelling and over 12 hours of flying they never missed a beat.

Quite pricey at Β£70 but compared to the cost of replacing my quietcomfort 15 headphones with a newer wireless pair, it’s a bargain. Very easy to pair with my phone (my primary source of audio to the headphones). Plugging them in to the headphones wasn’t quite so straightforward; my first attempt led to distorted audio which alarmed me somewhat. Further jiggling and a few removals and re-insertions later i was able to seat the adapter just right after which the sound came through just fine and dandy. I experience the occasional blip where the sound cuts off for a second, but i’ve no way of knowing whether that’s due to the adapter, or my phone being particularly busy and not servicing the bluetooth output sufficiently. On the whole though, i’m pleased enough to keep this; i enjoy my new found freedom from the cable and i don’t plan on swapping back.

Fits very securely and the sound quality appears no different to using the cable. Wasn’t sure if wireless was just a gimmick but having used it i now realise how much of a pain the wires were. Battery life if not an issue (although i’m not a heavy user). There is a proprietary charging cable. It fits easily in the qc15 case but i can see myself misplacing it and it does require removing the device from the qc15s to charge. It would have been better to have a standard micro usb socket on the outside to charge the battery. I was thinking about removing a star for this but the bottom line is i’m very pleased and would buy it again.

Obviously a lot of time was spent on the design of the airmod, as it is very stylish and looks like an original part of the bose qc 15 headphones when fitted. The sound quality is also excellent, and there is no discernible difference between the bluetooth connection and the wired connection. Unfortunately i can’t comment on the battery life of the airmod at the moment as i haven’t had long enough, and it is still running on its initial charge. As a lot of others have said, it would have been nice to be able to recharge the airmod in situ, as opposed to having to remove it, but perhaps because of its design, that wasn’t possible.

Brought my old tech wired headphones right up to date. Now i dont need to spend a small fortune buying the latest headphones.

Really happy with this product – packaged really well, fast delivery, fast set-up and sound is top-notch. No issues and highly recommend seller and product.

AirMod Wireless Bluetooth Adapter for Bose QuietComfort 15 Headphones (QC15)

Bought this so i could continue to use qc15 with latest phones. Very good snug fit to the headphones so you will not lose it. As others have said it charged with a usb to 3. 5mm jack (supplied) if you lose it, a quick search on amazon under β€œ3. 5mm to usb cable” found replacements for under Β£10. Only drawback(if it is one) is that the adapter does not have the β€œhi/lo” switch so set the volume initially on the device and then use the controls on the adapter to tweak. It is a bit pricey but it is cheaper than buying the qc 35 or even the other quality bluetooth headphones. With the adapter fitted, the headset still fits in the bose case and the charging cable can go in the small pocket too with the other cables.

Overall i’m really pleased with this. I didn’t want to to invest in the new wireless version of these headphones as my qc15’s are excellent, but was starting to get annoyed at being tethered to my device. The adapter fits very nicely into the cable jack and is lightweight. It’s charged with a supplied usb cable. It’s a bit stiff getting the adaptor in and out for charging but i expect that will loosen up a bit over time and usage. The bluetooth range is very poor so i stream spotify through my iphone and keep it in my pocket. If you’re using a computer, you’ll not get far away before the sound breaks up. Also, the volume buttons are small badly placed. All in all, i’d recommend this, if you love your qc15’s like i do but want to get rid of the annoying cable.

Great design, fits so nicely with the qc15 headset it looks like a factory fit. Perfect upgrade for seamless integration with an iphone 7.

Fits well and performs as described.

Took me 2 weeks to decide to buy these. They fit perfectly and are fantastic.

Does what it says great bit of kit thanks.

Very good easy to convert your bose corded headphones to cordless.
