The instructions are wrong right at the start in step 1, it shows the parts 2 & 3 being installed with the 2 screws at the top if you do this you won’t have the holes in the top for the parts in step 5. I followed the instructions and had to strip and rebuild correctly with the 2 screws at the bottom. My major criticism of the unit is that for a few pence they could have put an adjustable foot at the front which would stop it rocking, i had to put some pads in to stabilise it. However when finished looks great, it really is a lovely unit. I cannot give a durability rating as i’ve only had it a day.
No use for a 50′-55′ tv with side legs, would be ok for one with middle stand.
It took some shopping around to find something that would suit this room as well as the tv and equipment that we had, as well as i wanted it to be as uncluttered as possible, with the equipment out of view and so this ticked all the boxes, being a neat and stylish solution and different from the usual tv cabinets you can buy on the highstreet.
Easy to assemble, just a few”scratching of the head moments”take your time and you will get no problems.
I love it, it’s stylish, i have a 49” tv on mine and it looks great.
It is a beautiful piece of furniture and we are pleased with it we did try and contact the seller through amazon but did not have any response. It took us 5+hours to put it up. We are novices so really you do need someone who knows flatpack to help. Also we didn’t know as it wasn’t marked which was the top and bottom so had to take it apart a couple of times. Also managed to crack the wood pieces in a couple of places unless you are good at this it is a very expensive way to buy and on reflection should have paid more to get a tv cabinet, we did like it though which is why we went for it. An expensive learning curve never to do it again unless it is a much cheaper item we gave it 3 stars to average it out, lovely furniture but hard to put up.
Half way through assembling this i was thinking that 5 stars would be too low. The quality of the components and the accuracy of fit was excellent. However, when finished there were a few niggles. The curved profiles top and bottom fit into side profiles which are flat – that would be ok but the glass top that fits behind them is curved right to the ends, leaving a gap behind the flat side pieces. Although everything fitted together well, the four rubber feet were not aligned so the unit rocked front to back and there’s no adjustment. The weight of the tv on top is well forward so this shouldn’t be a problem in use. The doors are long so any lack of alignment at the hinge is magnified at the other end. Although there is quite a lot of adjustment on the hinge mounting, one of my doors cannot be properly aligned – i will have to file longer slots in the mounting. The finished unit looks good and the remote operates through the glass doors.
Well packaged with decent instructions. Pretty easy to put together by yourself. All the fittings were clearly marked and the holes were clean and in the right place. When assembled the unit looks good. The only thing i’d point out is that because it’s a corner unit the rear is only 70 cm wide meaning if you have a tv with corner stands , like a samsung, the stands fall off the edge of the unit. I solved this by buying a universal cantre stand. Pain but cheaper than a new tv.
