Kenwood Compact FP120 Food Processor – : I like this blender but I don’t love it

Great machine perfect size for smaller family, does everything i need from a food processor, has good suction feet, would recomend, also great price.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend, she said it works well however it is really too small to make pretty much of anything. Also the product we received the lid turns itself open every time it is powered on unless you hold it which makes it automatically stop working.

This is the greates value item i think i have ever bought, it was down as a used item but i couldnt find a flaw other than the box had been opened before.

This was a lot smaller than i expected but despite that i love it. I don’t do a lot of baking so it suits my needs but i’m not sure if it would be big enough if you were using it daily. It seems very powerful and is really easy to use and clean. As others have said, the lid doesn’t lock (although it shoul) so i have to hold it in place to keep the power running but as i don’t use it that much, it wasn’t worth the hassle of sending it back.

Bought this as an electric hand mixer replacement as just kept killing the hand whisks within a few months (if not weeks). It’s very compact and lives in the space left by the hand mixer and i love that it has a lid to keep stuff from flying everywhere. However, as i discovered, it really is small quantities only (don’t double the pancake mix), so one small cake/cupcakes, one small batch of icing etc. Great for making crumbles etc though and it does mix the right quantities very well.

This is a very handy and compact food processor and i chose this one in particular as others looked bulky. This is my first food processor so i wasn’t sure what to expect. I was disappointed with the results when chopping vegetables. Onions turn to mush, even on the pulse setting and if you don’t blend for long enough, you end up with big bits of onion. I tried peppers last night and they were the same. However, i have made my own hummus, pesto and protein snacks (using nuts etc) and it’s brilliant. It’s blends everything very finely and i will use it for this purpose. It’s a real shame it’s not good for chopping vegetables.

It’s a normal blender but with a couple twists. There is a disc you insert if you have a small volume inside it to keep the ingredients down close to the blades. There are also rubber suction pads on the feet to prevent it walking along your countertop. Both are nice twists on a conventional design. I have to say that i find this blender to send a lot of the ingredients to the sides which then get stuck and not blended. As a result you have to frequently open it up and push the ingredients back down.

Great little processor ideal for one or two people but actually handles up to 8oz pastry. Small enough to slip into a cupboard in the kitchen unlike my old full size kenwood so encourages me to get it out and cook more. Slices and grates adequately. Does everything i bought it for.

Works well, looks neat, doesnt take up too much room on kitchen top.

I have an expensive kenwood mixer, obviously this is not an expensive product and it shows, very light weight, not many settings, small capacity, having said that it’s still well worth the money, does what i wanted it for. The attachments for expensive kenwood cost more than this machine.

Bought to replace my ancient moulinex, this is more than up to the job. Despite being “compact” (ie small) it manages big tasks well.

Nice bit of kit, i am just starting to experiment in the kitchen and this does a lot of what the more expensive models do, at a lot less cost.
