I’ve been subscribed to the Lookfantastic Beauty Box since February this year and each month I find myself loving a new product which I instantly repurchase the moment it has run out. The Lookfantastic Beauty Box is £15 a month with free delivery, however I signed up for the 12 month subscription which drops it down to £11.25 a month – bargain alert! Anyway, today I’m going to talk you through what is included in the Lookfantastic Beauty Box October 2016:
Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel
I’m yet to give this a go as I’ve recently just started a new skincare regime with a whole array of new products which is currently going really well. So I don’t want to ruin it right now! The moment my current mask product is finished though, I will be giving this a go.
Laura Geller Waterproof Pout Perfection Lip Liner
Again, I haven’t used this yet either as I’ve not been wearing lipstick lately – mainly due to a horrible ulcer causing my bottom lip so much pain. help. Anyway, I have swatched this – of course – and the formula is so creamy and is highly pigmented, which makes me excited to give it a go. I compared the swatch to two current favourite lipsticks of mine and it goes perfectly. They are the Kat Von D Studded Kiss in Magick and the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie in Get Ready.
Alterna Caviar Anti-ageing Moisture Intense Oil Creme
I’m just going to be honest, I haven’t tried any of these products yet as I currently have a whole array of products waiting to try which these are now in the same box. Yes, a box. BUT, this one will be used the next time I wash my hair as this is a pre-shampoo treatment. I’ve not come across hair care products you use before shampooing, so I’m intrigued to know what this has to offer.
Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak
This isn’t going to be a product I ever use because one; I don’t like baths – I’m a shower kind of girl, and two; I don’t even have a bath. BUT, I have used the Mio exfoliator before and it worked wonders for my dry skin, so I can only assume this stuff is great too. It’ll probably make its way into a little beauty hamper for my Mum this Christmas. Sorry if your reading this, Mum. spoiler alert!
Polaar The Genuine Lapland Lip Balm
My lips are the first thing to be affected by the colder season, which means lip balms are my winter lip saviour. Firstly, the packaging (and the name) scream Christmas, but mot importantly this lip balm intensely hydrates lips to prevent them becoming dry and sore. Infused with a blend of arctic raspberries, blackberries and lingon berries, you can only assume how good this stuff is going to smell.
Oskia Renaissance Mask
I do love a good mask to help rejuvenate my skin after a long day and help to brighten and exfoliate all at the same time. This is a jelly like formula which smells lovely with a hint of subtle citrus scents but also rose within it, that helps to brighten dull skin and gently exfoliate for the ultimate skin pampering. Plus, it’s suitable for all skin types.
