Another month has passed where I’ve switched up my makeup bag and found myself using completely new and exciting makeup products! Enough to do my third Coffee & Blogging Monthly Favourites posts. I suck at doing Monthly Favourites because I don’t switch up my everyday products that often, but I have done since Christmas to get some use out of a few presents and treats to myself.
Zooeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette
I had a major clear-out of my makeup just before Christmas and decided to be really ruthless with what makeup I kept. After clearing all my makeup away, I soon realised I had nothing left regarding eyeshadow – say what? So what did I do? I went and bought not one, but two eyeshadow palettes (the other I’ll get on to later). A very wise purchase decision from someone who just decided to cut back. Anyway, I have no regrets, as this palette is perfect for those who love their neutral tones, mattes and also a little shimmer.
Jimmy Choo Eau de Toilette
I got this in a Cohorted beauty box last year and have been obsessed with it ever since! Sadly, since taking this picture the minature bottle has now run out, so it’s now on my birthday wishlist *hint hint*. I never know why I mention perfumed products in these style posts, because I am AWFUL at describing scents. So all I can say is, head to a Boots or another perfume store and give it a spritz!
Soap & Glory Mist You Badly Body Spray
Again, why do I insist on setting myself up for disaster by placing fragrances in these posts? Anyway, this spray has been a firm favourite for years and all thanks to one of my best friends from university. I hadn’t bought on in quite some time though, so I treated myself just before Christmas and I’ve not stopped using it since!
Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush Set
One of my first posts of 2017 featured what I got for Christmas, and this beautiful set of brushes was one of the gifts by my Mum. All of them are so soft and too pretty to even use, but I have not stopped reaching for these every time I do my makeup!
Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette
Oh my, have you ever since anything so magnificent. I purchased this for several reasons: I love matte eyeshadows, every single share is wearable and will get alot of use out of them and the palette itself speaks volumes. It’s not cheap, but I genuinely think it’s one of the best eyeshadow palettes around due to the simple fact that you can create so many different looks and each colour will be used.
