Morphy Richards Kettle Evoke Kettle 104408 Electric Kettle – Exact colour wanted

Stylish, easy to fill and pour, just what i hoped for.

The colour is a rich deep red and looks more expensive than it was. Boils quickly but is very noisy.

A good looking squat design. So far, it has performed well and boils quite quickly. Access for cleaning the inside and removing the filter is reasonable. The lid clips firmly so does not fall off when pouring but is easily removed when required. The ‘window’ for viewing the water level is not in the most practical viewing position being under the handle although this gives cleaner lines to the overall visual appearance. The ‘on’ light is a white led – it is bright enough generally but a coloured light would have been preferable as it would be more obvious. All in all not a bad kettle and good value for a stainless steel model as many similarly priced models are plastic.

Lovely looking kettle, light and fast boiling.

I like this kettle very much. It is just slightly smaller than the one i had before. I use a jug to put water in the kettle because i realised that hard water spoiled the outside of my previous stainless steel kettle when filling it under the tap. Also i only put in the right amount of water for tea and so am economical in water and electricity. I wipe any water off straight away and the kettle keeps on looking like new. Yes i like the kettle and it looks good siting on its base, and it pours nicely too.

Love the way its designed, boils fast, easy to handle, not exactly quiet though, all round good kettle.

This kettle matches all the other morphy richards appliances and accessories in my new kitchen – so looks really good. It also does exactly what it is supposed do – boil water safely and quickly 😊 it may not be the lightest kettle out there but it is by no means heavy.

Very good kettle but slightly on the small side ideal for making up to 4 cups.

Nice design, looks great and feels great in the hand. No drips when pouring, fast boil. Really pleased with purchase.

Great kettle cheaper than stores.

No problems had this for a while.

Really like the shape and design of this kettle, quickly comes to the boil.

It is fine except the kettle is permanently full of black bits,i know you will say it is from the water, but none of my old kettles ever had this problem. I don’t think the filter is working properly as the bits are always at the bottom of the mugs when the drink is finished.

It is quite gorgeous to look at and whoever designed it deserves full credit. It pours beautifully, no dribbles down the side, nicely balanced to hold. A touch noisy, but no matter. The lid will always be easy to remove as it does not have an appalling button to press to open. All kettles we have owned with push buttons have eventually malfunctioned with not being able to open the lid.

Lovely modern jug shape, really pleased with my purchase,.

It goes so well with the new kitchen.

Have now used this kettle for a few month and am very pleased with it. Highly recommended and very good value.

Love it brightens up my kitchen also bought the toaster.

  • Pretty – with some drawbacks if you’re not a fan of plastics

I like the design of this kettle. The exterior is shiny and easy to clean and it has a stainless steel interior. I have only given four stars as it is quite noisy.

Excellent kettle just right size.

I have never used a kettle before but since i’ve had this one for about a month i find it use it everyday and sometimes more than once a day. Works perfect and i love that it has a filter inside. You will not be disappointed with this one.

I wish it didn’t contain so much plastic. I removed the entire scale filter–i’ve never seen anything so huge and that plastic dipped way down into the boiling water. I don’t have much lime scale here and so it’s not necessary. Wish the water gauge was glass. This could be a perfect and nice looking kettle with some modifications by the manufacturer. (when will they catch on that many consumers would like metal and glass appliances?)if you’re not worried about plastics in your kettle, then i would give this 5 stars.

The lid is removed manually so it can get hot, this is the only negative. The previous one had a lever operated lid which failed within a few months so the manual handle was an intentional choice for us. Also wanted one where the handle wasn’t over the filler.

This kettle looks good & super smart in my red kitchen & boils quickly.

I have no negative comments to make about this kettle. Really quick boil and very nice to look at.

Excellent manufacturing morphy richards never let me down. My old one russell hobbs kettle last 2 years. The switch become broken and stop working.

I’ve had it for a few months, stays clean and quick to boil, albeit it does sound like a rocket ship heading off to space.

Thrilled , wanted this shape & a burgundy colour kettle. Only had for a few days but it’s quite sturdy & looks as classy as far more expensive kettles.

Good looking and boils fast.

Brought this to go with the toaster and bread bin. Great black /titanium colour. Very light weight, cant wait to put it in my new kitchen when its done.

I do like morphy richards kettles. I am loving this one as well, with only downside that it makes a bit too much noise when boiling the water.

This is a really eyecatching kettle, it’s neat and pretty. It’s easily filled directly from the tap through the spout. I’ve had lots of compliments regarding my white and grey morphy richards kettle.

It pours without dripping everywhere.

This is a lovely, stylish kettle. It’s slightly smaller than my previous mr kettle. The only quibble is it sounds a lot louder when boiling.

This is a jug kettle for boiling water. It is very noisy which i’m not at all happy about. As for the colour and style – the style i like very much the colour black i thought would be more matt than it is. To me it looks more like a dark grey. I don’t like shiny gadgets in the kitchen and this kettle is shiny but the style is what will make me keep this kettle. Can’t comment on the cleaning of it as i never drink tap water therefore it should remain nice and clean on the inside i am disappointed on the level of noise and the colour finish but i will keep it as my old morphy richards’ kettle is now leaking after 7 years usage.

Looks great in my new kitchen.

Lovely looking kettle , quick boil, perfect spout but it is bit noisy.

Exactly what i was looking for.

The kettle is really nice, stylish and works very well.

Very nice stylish product from a well trusted manufacturer with an excellent pedigree.

This kettle was not my first choice. I wanted the pyramid shape to replace my similar model but for whatever reason it was unavailable, so i chose the evoke and i’m glad i did. I love the appearance, the burgundy finish is superb. It handles well and it’s jug design makes for easy filling via the lid which i prefer or by the spout. As a recent purchase i can’t vouch for it’s longevity but i consider it to be good value for money and have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Looks great in my kitchen, goes well with the kitchen theme. The kettle is well ergonomically designed, boils pretty quickly and easy to clean.

I love the colour, style and where the handle is. The kettle does boil quite noisy as other reviews have said but this doesn’t matter to me.

Paint bubbled and just wiped away. Updated: new kettle supplied under guarantee c/o morphy richards facilitated by amazon so uprated from 1 to 3 stars because of that (thanks to all involved).

The colour and how it goes with any colour of your kitchen.

Boils fast and is lightweight.

This is a really good design with the handle on the side, integrated with the body of the kettle and very solid. I would definitely recommend and re purchase this kettle as it’s easier to use than one with a handle over the top.

Love the look of this kettle. It’s very easy to clean would recommend it.

It is a lovely kettle that does it’s job.

I’ve used it for 3 days now and i have no issues. It’s a bit loud, but it’s doesn’t really bother me. The water level is easy to see in my opinion, but that’s something that would never bother me though as i like to renew the water each time i use the kettle. It’s metallic inside out which is what i wanted as i’ve read so many reviews about water smelling like plastic. The metallic smell still hasn’t gone away but it’s not as strong as it was in the beginning, so i’m expecting it to completely disappear in a few days. I’ll keep in mind updating my post if something changes. Also, it looks nice in our kitchen.

Very good product i’m delighted with the speed it boils water and it looks perfect in my kitchen.
