Russell Hobbs RHMD702C 30L Digital 700w Solo Microwave Cream : good simple product

Bought this for my sister for her new flat as he kitchen colour scheme is cream and she loves it. It’s a really simple to use microwave and was perfect for her as she hates anything too fussy. She 100% recommends it therefore i’d happily recommend it to anyone.

This product has tarnished after what i feel is a short period and is not used often. Plastic has started to peel off and i will have to purchase a replacement. I followed cleaning instructions. Will not purchase this again.

Nice and handy basic microwave, fitted great in the little corner of our counter.

Doubles as a mirrorworks very well and simple instructions although i occasionally press cancel instead of start.

Met expectations regarding function and looks good.

Pleased with this as it matches my cooker. Simple to use, but the light does not go out until you shut the door and it pings all the time. The automatic programs are of no use to me personally. Good basic product though and it just about holds a full sized dinner plate.

Very good on time and good product.

We r totally happy with the product cannot fault it.

Avoiding Mishaps

To avoid any microwave mishaps it is recommended to take extra care with the following:

Low moisture foods (eg. cereals, bagels, dried pasta, pulses and chocolate)

– These must be cooked on a low power level for a very short length of time, or preferably not at all.

High sugar content foods (eg. jams, syrups)

– These foods can become easily ‘super-heated’ when cooked in a microwave oven.

Foods containing alcohol

– Foods with an alcohol content must not be cooked in a microwave as they could ignite.

Foods with a membrane or outer skin (eg. fruits, sausages, potatoes)

– Food with a sealed or none porous skin must be pierced to allow pressure and steam to escape

Works great after many months use. I just wish it had something of a retainable memory so i wouldn’t have to reset the clock after every power outage, which happens often where i’m using it, in afghanistan.

Trendy and looks great in my kitchen, would recommend.

Not very sturdy ,cant get it to sit evenly on worktop, and the door seems very light, like the style and colour, kinda wish i had returned it now.

The microwave is very good-i found the instructions for defrosting confusing. I have got used to it now and i am very pleased.

A great product easy to use looks great in the kitchen cooks very well the food is always hot.

Bought as present seemed happy with it.
