Sony WI-C300 Wireless In-Ear Headphones : Nice colour and good sound quality

I’ve been using wired earphones from sony for years, have always found them comfortable and liked the sound. My ears are at slightly different angles and sony buds are the only ones i’ve tried that stays in both. That remains the same for these wireless headphones, they stay in for the most part but i find that the controls add a little weight and it doesn’t feel quite right. It won’t fall out but it feels like it might. It’s nothing major but i find that i have to be conscious of how i position the weight around my neck. Speaking of controls, i find the layout a little odd. I guess i’m just used to the order of back/-, play/pause, forward/+. Another thing i’ve noticed is that when making calls, any slight touch along the wire gets picked up by the mic. I’ve been told that it sounds bad by other people. Not a big deal since i don’t make a lot of calls and use it primarily for audiobooks and music.

I was very happy to try these as i am a sony fan and have been for years. I’ve never had wireless headphones although there is a wire it just connects the in-ear cups with the battery pack/control. It looks very neat and you get a choice of three different size silicone ear caps to choose from as they fit snuggly in the ear. There is a usb cable with it for charging etc and linking to pc. There’s a start-up guide and a reference guide. Good sound and battery time and i charged via my computer as instructed. I fiddled a bit to link it via bluetooth and was soon able to play some tunes.

Easy to set up, quick to charge and sound quite good. The sound is detailed and has a wide sound stage. There are better for not much more, eg sony mdr-xb80b5 on amazon.

I’ve used a lot of these kinds of ‘wireless’ earphones (including apple, jabra, house of marley and philips), and these are probably the best in their price range. You get the customary small, medium and large silicone tips, the audio is good, the (lithium lion) battery pack isn’t as heavy and irritating as some, the bluetooth connection is rock-solid, and they can use the aac codec as well as the usual sbc. I don’t call earphones like these totally wireless. It can pull the earbuds out of your ears, which is annoying, but overall they’re pretty good.

These in ear wireless headphones have good sound quantity and are easy to set up. I like the turquoise colour and so far they have worked well.

These are not noise cancelling so have to be careful not to pump up the volume too loud. Easy to set up, not too heavy. But again, not noise cancelling. Overall solid everyday in-ear headphones.
